PERSEVERANCE. NUTRITION. EXERCISE.
There are many different ways to get fit and even more ways of staying fit. What is it that you want your body to do better? Do you want to take some weight off, train for an event, or just get stronger? Here are some of the different ways I can help achieve your fitness goals.
Getting To Know You
I like to get to know my clients so that I can help them to achieve their goals. In this initial session, clients will undergo a physical assessment to pinpoint muscle imbalances and learn fundamental techniques to build off of in future sessions. I will learn about your daily routine and analyze your goals to help you map out a gameplay to success.
1 Hour Sessions
Your workout will be developed on the basis of your fitness goals. Each workout will be different and will be comprised of functional movements that you make you stronger, leaner, more flexible, and less stressed. We will laugh together and most importantly enjoy the journey together.
2-4 Clients; 1 Hour Session
Looking for that extra push? Have a friend or two that wants to workout with you? Prefer a group environment? Maybe you would like to join or create a group session rather than a one on one workout. I limit the groups to a maximum of four clients as safe movements and proper form are my utmost priority.
Recognized as one of the top fitness professionals in the DC Metro area, I’ve been helping my clients safely and effectively get into the shape they want since 2008. Whether you want to build muscle, burn calories, or just get moving, my personalized training regime will help you achieve a wide range of fitness goals.
I know that modern life can be jam-packed, making it hard to prioritize fitness. Your health and fitness are my top priorities. I will be by your side every step of the way.
Mobility is a fancy term for how well you move. Movement is fundamental to life. It is not a coincidence that as we age our stories around the dinner table begin with, "my body doesn't move like it used to." My goal at Iron Stella is to help you improve your flexibility, strength, and conditioning, no matter your age or current fitness level.
Body Weight Training
Body weight training is synonymous for strength training exercises that do not require free weights. These exercises include things like squats, lunges, bridges, and planks and create a strong foundation of strength and endurance even for clients that have been sedentary for a fair amount of time. My goal is to choose the proper exercises for you as an individual based on your strengths and weaknesses to better yourself in ways you didn't think possible.
Strength & Stamina
Kettlebell training is an accessible and practical training method for both the sedentary person who is looking to discover fitness for the first time and the elite athlete looking for an edge over their competition. Pure and simple...kettlebell movements train the entire body. You will reap the benefits of improved endurance and functional strength without the monotony of isolated repetitions plus increased flexibility and greater fat loss. The kettlebell will be your best friend sooner or later.
Guidance and Suggestions
Strength, mobility, and endurance are gained during workouts but if you aren't fueling your body properly the benefits will never be maximized. I encourage all of my clients to food journal and am happy to help critique daily intake and make suggestions in order to help you achieve your maximum results.
